We have been several times to visit the house Jöckel and it has always pleased us very well. 1a service, no wish remained unfulfilled … Mr. Jöckel is a great, very accommodating host. The food in the restaurant is excellent, the wellness area is small but cozy and the service team is visibly concerned. We had a great time and will gladly come again sometime. Thank you for everything!

Hello dear Jöckel team I can only agree with the previous writers. We were also only one weekend there, but it was so great! The food, the HAMMER. Rarely eaten so well. Many thanks to the kitchen. And the cake first… We will definitely be back! Also the Spaberreich supi… Keep it up!

We were guests of the Jöckel family for 5 days. The staff and management were very nice and helpful at all times. The food was very good, the room very clean. All additional services were provided as offered. Beautiful area for biking and hiking. Drink prices are absolutely fine as well. We will be back!!!

We stayed here a few days ago and it was very nice. staff very nice! The food gets a 1 plus with an asterisk. The chocolate bath was pure relaxation. The children love their "own" swimming pool with whirlpool. water bed in the room. Just great. We'd love to come back when the weather is better. Greetings from the Wetterau!

Here we present you our beautiful surroundings. In winter you can skate and shoot curling on the large ice rink of the Nieder-Mooser-See. In addition, depending on the season, special events are offered, such as in autumn the harvest ride, combined with a fox hunt and the fishing of the Nieder-Mooser-See.   • Vogelsberg tourism

    Hiking, cycling and horseback riding are the main activities on the Vogelsberg volcano in the center of Hesse. Let yourself be enchanted by unspoiled natural landscapes and cozy half-timbered towns.

  • Lake Niedermoos

    Look forward to an eventful camping vacation with great recreational opportunities directly at the Nieder-Mooser See. Get out of the daily routine - into the vacation fun and simply feel good!

  • Theme park volcano

    The Vulkan amusement park offers great recreational fun! Outdoor games like Disc-Golf, Pit-Pat or MInigolf, children's playground & bouncy castles, as well as a petting zoo and much more.

  • Red bog

    When the autumn mists rise in the Carpathian birch forest, the Red Moor near Gersfeld presents itself in a particularly mystical way.

  • Lamatracking

    Walking with a llama through the beautiful Vogelsberg - there are few things more relaxing. The llama is led by the rope and walks as your equal partner with you at eye level.

  • Baroque city Fulda

    With the cathedral, the castle, the baroque quarter and the former university, the former residence of the prince bishops of Fulda is one of the most worth seeing cities in Hesse. For the city tour, the purchase of a guidebook is recommended.

  • Concert summer

    The large Lutheran village church, the "Vogelberg Cathedral" with 1000 seats, has an original sounding baroque organ. The organ and church concerts in Nieder-Moos are known far and wide in the country.

  • Fairy tale town Steinau

    Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm lived here. Their residence, the Brothers Grimm House, is a modern museum dedicated to their life and work. Fairy tale city tours and tales invite you into the fairy tale world of the Brothers Grimm.
